Lora-Tabs are an antihistamine used to relieve the symptoms associated with allergic rhinitis (hay fever), such as sneezing, runny or itchy nose, and burning or itchy eyes.

Lora-Tabs may also be used to relieve symptoms associated with a skin condition called urticaria; these symptoms include itching, redness and lumps on the skin called hives.

Active Ingredients:
Each tablet contains: Loratadine 10mg, lactose, maize starch, colloidal silicon dioxide, magnesium stearate, sodium laurilsulfate, sodium starch glycollate, purified water.

Lora-Tabs do not contain sugar, gluten, tartrazine or any other azo dyes.

Precautions (check with pharmacist before use if any of the following apply):
If you have liver disease or any other medical condition.
If you are taking any other medicines (especially ketoconazole, erythromycin or cimetidine).
If you are pregnant or breastfeeding.

Dosage:
The usual dosage for adults and children over 12 years is one tablet daily.
Children 2-12 years over 30kg - One Tablet Daily
Children 2-12 years under 30kg - Half a Tablet Daily (5mg)

No not give to children under 2 years of age

Warnings:
This medicine may cause drowsiness in some people. If you have any of these symptoms, do not drive, operate machinery or do anything else that could be dangerous.

Side effects: Drowsiness, tiredness, headache, increased appetite, difficulty sleeping, nervousness and dry mouth.
