Telfast Fexofenadine Hydrochloride 10

Telfast 180mg is used to relieve the symptoms of hayfever (sneezing, itchy/watery eyes and itchy/runny nose) and/or hives, wheals, itching and redness of the skin.

Ingredients:
Active ingredients: Fexofenadine Hydrochloride 180mg

Inactive ingredients: microcrystalline cellulose, pregelatinised maize starch, croscarmellose sodium, magnesium stearate, povidone, titanium dioxide (E171), colloidal silicon dioxide, macrogol 400, iron oxide and hypromellose.

Tablets do not contain any gluten or lactose.

Contraindications:
Do not take if you have had an allergic reaction to fexofenadine or any of the other ingredients.
Do not take with other antihistamines.
Do not use in children under 12.

Precautions (check with pharmacist before use if any of the following apply):

• If you have kidney or liver problems
• If you take any other medicines
• If you are 65 or over
• If you are pregnant or breastfeeding or plan on becoming pregnant

Dosage:
Adults and Children over 12 years: Take one tablet once daily when required.

Do not take antacids containing magnesium or aluminium within 2 hours of dose.

Side effects: headache, drowsiness, nausea, fatigue and dizziness.
